Sauerkraut hands on and breadmaking demo!

Sauerkraut is a German fermented vegetable that aided the preservation of vegetables before the existence of refrigeration. Containing unlocked vitamins, minerals and amino acids, kraut is tasty with meats and an excellent accompaniment in a sandwich.

In this special workshop, you'd get:

1) Hands on experience to make 2 recipes for kraut, by Melissa Mak (Founder, SG Fermentation Friends)
2) See a bread making demo by the brilliant women behind LiCo Wellness
3) Make your own sandwich for tea.

About Melissa
The founder of SG Fermentation Friends, Melissa's journey in gut wellness begun with some bad street food! After her condition got treated by homemade fermented goods, Melissa continued to spread the love for fermentation as a home chef and scientist through her workshops. Working in the sports education industry, she is a trained yoga teacher too!

About bread making demo:
Making a fresh and aromatic nutty bread should be a breeze. A former Home Economics teacher, Merlina who is a trainer and nutrition consultant with LiCo Wellness, will be leading in this demonstration. Enjoy a freshly baked bread from the oven!

Investment: $35

Materials provided:
1) 2 small glass jars
2) Sauerkraut to bring home
3) Sandwich and tea

Limited to 12 seats each session. Second session available if demand is present.
